AJ Visits Baby Angelino and Deck View

It's been a while since I linked with Outdoor Wednesday and Watery Wednesday. Thank you for always making these available for us. If you want to see some awesome outdoor photos, do not fail to visit Susan at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ and Watery Wednesday at http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

My granddaughter AJ, spent her Christmas vacation at her other grandparents' home in Illinois. Some of you might already know that I had a baby boy who passed away 8 days after he was born. We lived in Illinois when that happened so Baby Angelino was buried there. A few days ago, AJ called me and told me that she visited him and sent me these pictures. I am so happy that she remembered to visit him. I wish I could visit him more often too. He would have been 31 years old next month if he lived. I miss you, Baby Angelino. I love you!

It looks like the pictures were taken from her i phone.

Now back to Mississippi! We have beautiful sunsets in our backyard. I took these pictures a few days ago.

And I took these last night. I love the color of the pool lights at night. It changes from blue to green to red. The blue is my favorite.

It was cold last night and today so John turned on the wet deck, just a little, to prevent the pipes from freezing. I can't wait for our grandkids to visit and play there again this summer. They really enjoy splashing and running in circles there.

Lastly, I want to show you that our camelias are blooming. We have pink and red ones. It's always nice to see flowers blooming during the wintertime.

Thank you for coming by. I always enjoy your visits. Happy hump day to all!

Hi Christine! First let me say that is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. Your granddaughter is soooo thoughtful. This shows she has a heart of compassion! I love that! Secondly, I am admiring your beautiful pool. I know it looks very wintery to you right now but I think it looks wonderful and so pretty!

Hi Christine. I am so sorry for the loss of Baby Angelino...I don't remember you telling me. How sweet of AJ to visit his grave, I know it warmed your heart.

I love the pictures of your sunsets, are they usually so pretty this time of year? Your pool looks ready to jump into but I know from you that it is very cold in Natchez right now. The camellias are gorgeous. Do they make nice cut flowers? I don't know if we grow them here.

Stay warm tonight!

XO,
Jane

Christine, that was so touching about AJ visiting your baby, Agelino. I am all teary eyed for you. Thank goodness that you will see him again some day.

I love your yard, and I adore camelias. They are so lovely.

Sending you warm hugs for a Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

Sheila :-)

Oh Christine I didn't know about (Or somehow didn't recall.. probably because it was so sad) baby Angelino. How lovely of CJ to visit her uncles grave. And what a beautiful marker. It has to be tough C to not be able to visit as often as you'd like. Sweet sweet pictures to have.
Your pool in winter looks pretty darn inviting! Winter does have it's own special beauty doesn't it? And lucky you to still have something blooming! There is nary a flower in sight here my friend. But I am sooo hoping that it doesn't snow! They're predicting possible snow for tomorrow! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't happen during your visit. On the plus side it's been in the 30's during the day so maybe it's actually warmer here? Anyhoo dear friend I'm counting the days! Michael and I are ready for ya! Vanna

Hi Christine. Our daughter lost a baby 5 years ago on Christmas Day. I really understand your loss - though the years go by, the memories are there. I am thankful to know there will be glorious reunions in Heaven. Blessings to you! Linda

Oh, Christine... I didn't realize you had lost a child. I'm so sorry. It must have been horrible for you. It's so nice that AJ visited his grave and sent you some photos.
And your other pics look so pretty. I can't believe you have flowers blooming. It is freezing here and the snow isn't melting!
Best,
Gloria
