Bees Are All Over But Not a Bunny In Sight!

My bunnies are still in the attic. Our maintenance guy who helps me take them down has been sick, so the bunnies just can't hop on the table yet.

But we have bees all over the garden so I decided to create a tablescape with them. No, not the real one! Anyway, I am joining these following parties:

Susan or Tablescape Thursday at

Debbie's Refresh Restyle's Springtacular Tablescape Party at

and Shirley's Egg-xellentTablescape Spring Party at

For my centerpiece, I used mini mini herb garden consisting of 2 small pots of lemon thyme and cilantro.

I added 2 little white birds on the pot.

Aaah....there is the beehive, where the bees have been hiding!

The Bee salad plates are from Williams Sonoma on clearance after summer last year.
BTW, Cherry Kay, here I used a green natural fiber runner that I sell in my booth. I had them imported directly from the Philippines. Do you see it? I really like the texture.

Napoleon Bee flatware from Horchow or Neiman Marcus from a few years ago.

The placemats are from Pier One. I just bought them last Saturday.
I won the green sparkly glass chargers on Ebay about 3 years ago.

It looks like the birds are singing

A special thanks to our hostesses and thank you all for stopping by.

Now, please join me for some coffee!

I think I'm going to have to rank this as one of my all-time favorites of yours, Christine. I love the softness of the color, the natural elements brought in via the runner, the placemats, and the centerpiece, and I love the bee theme. It all works so perfectly. I hope your maintenance guy gets well soon so you can play with the bunnies! Have a great weekend!

Oh Christine, you're such a talented tablescaper! This tablescape screams spring, even without the bunnies, but the bees are better and so adorable. The bee dishes are gorgeous, so unique like all your special treausres. I'm loving the runner and place mats, the whole thing is great! Have a terrific weekend my friend.

Wonderful tablescape, Christine. I'm crazy about that flatware. It's SO cute as is the whole 'scape.

Thank you for checking in with me. Life has been a roller coaster, and I have been computerless. I'm home right now and have borrowed Mr. Magpie's work computer to answer some posts left on my blog, yours being one of them.

Adelaide's husband had triple bypass (unexpected) so that is another thing along with another friend's husband who is in the final stages of pancreatic cancer. It's a matter of days according to Hospice. He has fought SO hard to live. Bless his heart!

I don't know when I will be back, but I haven't had a chance to look for another computer. There's just been an avalanche of stuff going on. And a few minutes ago, I heard something that was either gunshots or firecrackers. Not sure which. Just called the police and am waiting on them to get here.

Sending you much love across the miles and all my thanks for being so sweet and concerned.

Love you...

XO,

Sheila

Christine, not sure what is going on with blogger, but I just left a long email message.

I am computerless and am on Mr. M's laptop from work which he brought home for me to use. I've been out of town because Adelaide's husband had a triple bypass and another friend's husband is dying of pancreatic cancer. He's in the final stages. Both of them are down in Central Florida so I have to go down and stay. Haven't had a chance to hunt for a new computer or to blog. Hopefully I can do that before the end of spring. I miss everyone so much.

Hope you are well. I love your tablescape. Great job as always.

Thanks so much for your concern and love. It means the world!

XO,

Sheila

I have company this week so I am just getting around to visiting for this week. I'm so glad I made it a point to view your tablescape. I love all the bee details especially the napkin rings which I don't think I've seen before. I love when you use live plants for your centerpiece (adds a little "life" to the table!).
