After having temps in the 70's over the weekend, the cold front is here again, 25 degrees out there right now. So, why not just set a festive mardi gras table inside? After all, it is already Fat Tuesday.
I pulled out a gold and purple April Cornell tablecloth that I won from her tablescape contest a few years ago. I think it would be the perfect color. I added the masks that I bought from the Dollar store.
I bought the plates from TJ Maxx a long time ago and they are just marked "Artistic Accents" in the back. The fleur de lis plate chargers are from a store downtown that I bought several years ago also.
The clown napkin rings were from New Orleans from our last trip there and the Fleur de lis flatware were from Horchow or Neiman Marcus on line from a few years ago.
The clown that I placed inside a cloche was from the New Orleans French flea market from many years ago.
I cannot remember where I kept my beads. But there was an estate sale in our neighborhood last Saturday where John and I went. It was amazing how everything in the house including big furniture, sold out within 5 min. from the time they opened. Cars were parked an hour before they opened. John passed by them on his way to the hospital. Luckily these beads were still in the garage so I just bought them all for $5.
I told John we won't have any problem selling our household items and furniture if we ever decide to move.
I like these stemware. They are fun and I bought them from the other vendors in the antique mall where I used to rent a booth before.
The fleur de lis tea set is also from New Orleans. Although I bought the set from maybe 4 years ago, this is the first time I used it. It did not come with a sugar and creamer so I just used my pewter ones.
I hope you enjoyed my colorful table. Thank you so much for stopping by. I always appreciate your visits. I am linking with the following hostesses and I appreciate them hosting these memes very much too. A BIG thank you to all!

Am I the very first to get here? Well, that's a first.
I LOVE this table, Christine. The colors are fabulous, and it just screams Mardi Gras. My favorite is a toss up between the table setting itself and those festive goblets. Just so perfect that I want to toss you some beads! LOL
Wonderful Mardi Gras tablescape. So colorful. You find the most wonderful things. You are ready to celebrate! Bring on the beads and masks! The fleur de lis tea set is perfect for Mardi Gras. Happy Tea Day!
Beautiful tablescape, as usual, for Mardi Gras. I like how you tie it all together though the items were gathered from many places.
Gorgeous table scape! Mardi Gras is a wonderful theme to cheer up wintery days. Your table looks amazing!

Your Masrdi gra tablescape is so colorful, festive and full of great and fun elements that make it fabulous, Christine! I love it! I was going to atempt at one, but got too busy with the girls that are here, so I did one for Spring for them instead. We do celeb Carnaval here too, this weekend is long, we start tomorrow back to normal, lol! Our weather is also late 70's and sunny.
Hugs,
FABBY

Wow!! This table has celebration written all over it!! What a fabulous, fun Mardi Gras party. I think I would have a hard time deciding what to keep and what to part with if and when I have to move!!! Although it would be a compliment to anyone's taste to have it all sold in 5 minutes!!!
I love the way you always incorporate teapots into your lovely table settings! This is beautiful and such an array of colors!
