Cruising on the Carnival Dream

I am so glad to be able to join Susan for Outdoor Wed.
Before I go on to my cruise post, I just want to show you our blooming tree and camellia bushes. Our guest room for kids have 2 windows. I hardly ever go there unless we have grandkids visiting, but today, John told me to look out from there. To my surprise, I saw the tree full of white flowers in the front yard. I am not sure what it is but I am guessing it is a Bradley pear. It is so funny because I did not know we had one because it is farther from the driveway and we usually just turn left into the driveway. The camellias can be seen from the other window. They sure are pretty and so full of blooms.

Since I am posting a cruise, I am also kinking with Watery Wednesday.

We just returned from a Caribbean cruise last weekend. I will share the places where we went to on my Sightseeing Sat. posts.

I love the hanging bouganvilles. They look so real.
The ship had so many pools and jacuzzi tubs and would you believe that I forgot to pack a swimsuit?

We left from the port of Canaveral in FL.
Taken before we sailed off of Port Canaveral.
The big water slide.

They had smaller ones too for the little kids.

Can you spot me? I'll give you a clue, I am fully dressed.
This was taken from the rear of the ship.

Looking out from our cabin balcony. The sea was pretty rocky the first night.

Isn't that a beautiful sunset? Too bad it went and disappeared so fast.

I hope you enjoyed the watery outdoor pictures. Thanks for coming and many thanks to our gracious hosts for taking the time to host these fun events.

I love your blooming trees and bushes!! They are my favorite, even if it is just a short while in the spring.

Off on another cruise, I see!! That is one big ship! Can't wait to hear where you sailed. I enjoyed the beautiful sunset pictures. You are SO lucky (even though I don't know if I have the courage to do a cruise!!).

We are moving our trip back to about the 3rd week of May and from your schedule that still looks good, doesn't it? Alan has some out of town trips and doesn't like to be gone from the office too many days in a row. I hope we get our airline dates and tickets very soon and I will give you exact dates.

xoxo

Christine, these pictures are so wonderful! What a great cruise! I just love the flowers, water, ship and the sunset! How lovely!

June 5th as of now is good for the Mississippi Magnolia Southern Belles Luncheon. I got a call from my Doc, I have to go in to see him this Thursday morning. He and the specialist are going to tell me what they have in store for me in the following months. If these experiments work, I'm hoping I will not go to surgery this summer. I was in the hospital as out patient last Monday. We found another tumor in my lymph nodes,it is large as a walnut, which is some how pulling on the muscles and nerves of my upper body and right arm, and that was my best side! lol So, if something should happen, You host the luncheon without me. I will surely try to be there if my health lets me. I decided to follow my dreams and host Tea Time Tuesday and live for each day. Tea Time keeps me going and looking forward to each week. I am exhausted when it through! lol It still hurts to type, but I am loving visiting again as much as I can. Stay in contact with me. When you announce the Luncheon, I would like to do a post on it too, maybe we should show some of the last luncheon pictures???? In the post. I have links on my sidebar and on my pages of new Mississippi bloggers and friends that have moved from Mississippi. Some would like to come. Let me know how you want to handle it. I was thinking maybe we should put the logo button on the post??? We may need to go to each blog or Email each Member and see if anyone else would like to join us at your home for hosting the next luncheon. I also will put it on my Facebook page and Twitter. I hope all will be OK and this will be so much fun! Do we need to post a map? Last time I was in to see Doc he said I needed 2 months, and would love to have 4 months before I go to surgery. Unless it is an emergency. So that would make June the best time for me. Cross your fingers for me! lol Because I do want to come so much!

Great photos!! Your blooming trees are so pretty. I would be one fully dressed on the deck also. I spent many years in the sun and now I spend a lot of time in the dermatologist office. He probably goes on cruises on what he charges me. :-D
