Blue Farm Cabinet

Most of you have seen this because I posted it yesterday but I added 5 more pictures because I already change the vignettes and the cabinet position.

The blue cabinet is now in the corner diagonally. Shelia of Note Songs suggested it. I actually thought about it also but I had the high chair sitting next to it at first so I could not do it then. But since the high chair has been moved, there is no reason why I could not try it now. And I really like it better! This first picture is how it presently looks now. The other photos I added are at the bottom of this post.

Change of look occurs when a tablescape is created. But today, I added another change. I found this blue farm style cabinet in another vendor's booth in the store. Actually, she just brought it in and it wasn't even in her booth yet. She was still trying to make room for it when I saw it as I was getting ready to go home. I asked how much and when she told me $68, I told her I'll save her the trouble of moving it to her booth because I will buy it.

I left it in the garage because at that time, the 3 grandkids were visiting so I did not have time to rearrange and we could not put anything on the table because the 2 little ones thought everything on the tables were for them to play with. When I showed it to John, he really likes it and said we can leave it as storage in the garage together with his other similar pie cabinet that's already in the garage.

Below are 3 different tablescapes created in the past. I just wanted to show you how the look changes with every tablescape. And these were before the blue cabinet.

Tablescape using Polish pottery. I have a big collection.

Well anyway, after the kids left for Florida and John went to work, I carried the blue cabinet inside the house and placed it in that corner. I was just going to see if it will work since it has a different look and color from the other furniture. But, I could really use another storage. What do you all think? Is it ok there or should I put it back in the garage?

This was before the cabinet.

And this is after. The cabinet actually blends well with the valance, don't you think?

There was space at the bottom of the cabinet so I placed an alligator and wicker boxes there.

I filled it with tableware pretty quickly.

Aren't my 2 little bunnies cute? My friend, Debjani brought them for me from her last Houston trip.

I created an Easter bunny vignette on the table.

See how it is diagonally placed in the corner now?

I changed the vignette on top of the cabinet. This is the existing one.

The table centerpiece has changed too. I moved the other one to the formal dining area to use with my Easter tablescape, which will be posted for Tablescape Thursday.

HI Christine! Oh, what a darling cabinet and you've already filled her up! :) I like in here. Have you thought of placing it at an angle in that corner? I don't know if you have room because of your chairs. Just a thought. I love your home and you do have lovely furniture. I wonder where you could put another piece, but you always can! :) I adore your bunnies in the tray on your table top. Those leaping bunnies are so cute!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

You always have such great tables!! Love the bunnies- can you believe I didn't even get the Easter out this year!? I have been busy working on the front guestroom. You wouldn't know it by looking but I am making progress. We textured the ceiling yesterday- now on to the walls tomorrow.

I really like your new cabinet. Nice price also. I know what you mean about the little ones thinking everything is to play with. I was holding my granddaughter and she immediately started grabbing at everything on the table.
Thanks for stopping by and your nice comment. I enjoy making the jewelry.
Have a great week.
