Porch and Deck Blog Party

This is our front porch. Actually, the picture was taken last Fall. I cannot find my later photos and it is too dark right now to take some so I will just use this old one. I hope you do not mind.
It is dicided into 2 seating areas, a settee and 2 chairs omn the left and 2 rockers with a tea table in between on the right side.

There is a porch amd deck party going on in Blogland and I sure do not want to miss them. Come join or at least browse Rhondi's Porch Party at http://www.atthepicketfence.com/2011/06/let-get-this-block-party-startedsummer.html http://rhondisrosecoloredglasses.blogspot.com/

and also Kim's Porch and Deck Party at http://savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com/

In fact, there is a 6 day Blog Hop block party going on and it's been hopping since yesterday. You may join one or all. Not only are there lots of fun, there will be lots of giveaways too. The block party is begoing on at http://www.atthepicketfence.com/2011/06/let-get-this-block-party-startedsummer.html so make sure you don't miss it.

This is the left side. I like to have tea with friends here in the spring and fall, Right now, it is too hot so I mostly stay in the back so I can jump in the pool whenever I get hot.
Now, let's move to the back porch. Our back porch is L shaped. In the corner is a fountain.

You will notice that I have a lot of sitting areas everywhere. I love to tablescape which is probably why I love tables too.

Here is a tablescape I created last Spring.

and another one before that.

Let's get closer to the fountain.

Near the fountain is a small parlor mosaic table with 2 chairs. See those 2 benches on the right wall? That's where the newly refinished benches went.

These 2 chaise lounge chairs are also near the fountain.

These folding chairs are in between the fountain and the porch dining table.
Right across from the fountain is the grill, which is right outside the kitchen.

This area is just off the back porch on the deck.
I have refinished this garden bench since and moved it to the other wall within the back porch.

Here are the 2 refinished benches.

Just like I said, I moved the other bench to the other side of the porch and replaced it with this one. This one matches the benches around the square picnic table on the pool deck which is just closeby.

This sitting area is on one corner of the deck.

My little promeganate is starting to bloom.

and this is the far corner, another lounge chair.

Do you see the picnic table diagonally from it? It used to have a patio umbrella but it flew across the roof into the front yard and broke during a wind storm.

This table is right behind it. We intended to have a jacuzzi placed here but we never got around to it. Someday, we will.

Of course my favorite part of all are my grandkids playing on the wet deck and getting a ride in a red wagon on the deck during their visit last week.

Thanks to our hostesses, Rhondi and Kim for these fun parties and thank you all for coming to my porch and deck tour.

I hope you will come back on Thursday for the Summer Spaces Party. I will tour you around the garden.
