It has been too hot here so I haven't been working in the garden. I am surprised, there are still some flowers that are still thriving, in spite of the extreme heat. I do water on the deck around the pool though and the sprinklers water the yard. we had a leak on one of the sprinkler valves and our outdoor water bill last month was around $450. Inside was $179. Ouch! Do you also get 2 bills every month? We do!
I will name the ones that I know for sure what they are called and leave the others that I am uncertain of, these fuschia flowers, pretty though, huh? I love the fan shape. It just popped up in the pot where I have my lemon tree planted.
Not sure what this is called!
Honeysuckle
Black Eyed Susan?
Bouganville
White Lantana
I also have the pink with orange and yellow mix in the front yard but I really did not take pictures of the flowers there.
One of my favorites, the sampaguita, which is the national flower of the Philippines. It belongs to the jasmine family and is therefore very fragrant.
Crown of Thorns
Dahlia?
white crape myrtle.
We also have pink ones in the front yard but they are very high. This white one just popped up here and is only 2 ft tall as of now.
Roses
Hibiscus
morning glory
They are so pretty in the morning with their deep blue color.
I thought this was a forsythia bush at first but I don't think so now. I planted it about 2 years ago and it was only a small plant then, less than a foot tall and just one stalk but look at it now! Does anybody know what it is?

Goodness Christine you sure have the greenest thumb!! What interesting plants you have too! Wow that is some high water bills though that's probably why your your garden looks so great!! We just get 1 bill a month.
I don't have any idea what that plant would be. I love it when things like this happen though- you think you bought a certain plant then you get a surprise and hopefully it is a pleasant one!

These flowers are amazing, but like you, I couldn't name half of them, lol. That first photo - never seen one like that before.
We have one - it flowers, and as soon as it's pollinated, it closes up and the flower dies! Sometimes in a matter of hours. So weird. We won't be planting that one again, such a disappointment. None have lasted a day so far.
Happy Pink Saturday!
Your flowers are beautiful Christine, especially for such an extreme summer! Love the white lantana-enjoy:@)
Outstanding garden Christine! I simply adore all of your gorgeous flowers!
We have a well, so lucky us, no water bill!
Hugs friend,
Cindy
Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers. Mine have about fizzled out. I have watered, but rain water works best.
Enjoy your weekend.
Wow, I'm amazed that you have so many beautiful flowers still blooming..... they are so pretty!!
Hi Christine! Beautiful flowers! I really like that fuschia one-gorgeous! I don't think I've ever seen it before. Sorry about your high water bill! That's no fun! Have a great rest of your weekend! Gina
You must have a lot of butterflies visiting at your garden! Catching up with Pink Saturday.
My PINK
Your comment is always a treat for me!
Have a blessed weekend.
Hi Christine, are you in Texas? I just asked because your plants are also mostly tropicals. It's good you can carry there the national flower of your country, although it is not an endemic species. I love that yellow flowered plant near the corner of the pool, do you know what it is?
Oh My Chris, By all those flowers you would never believe it was so hot! You must have a TON of humming birds??? We don't have to pay anything for water here. We have a well that is always plentiful AND we have a lake that I can tap if I needed it... I don't think anyone in Connecticut pays for their water. I DO Know my folks in Florida have to pay for theirs, BUT Dad has a well that he uses for his yard(that's free)...
Your yard and flowers are GORGEOUS. At least you have a reward for the water.
Have a fun weekend,
Big Hugs,
Donna
those are beautiful flowers! I can't believe you have them all. What a great treat.
Your summer blooms are beautiful. I just love the deep, rich colors :)
So pretty! I love morning glories so much! All of your flowers are just beautiful and look very healthy to me. I don't have a clue what a few of them are though. Sorry! We also are on a well so no water bill but if it makes you feel better our electric bills have been extremely high this summer. :(
The pictures are gorgeous. Such beautiful flowers. I know the heat here has been hard on our flowers too. No we do not get two bills.
The flowers are beautiful! It has been an unusually hot summer and lots of watering.

I've never HEARD of two water bills, and your's are certainly HIGH! OUCH!
I don't know what it is, but that is definitely not a forsythia bush.
I love your blues--especially the morning glories.
Happy Blue Monday, Christine!
Your flowers are gorgeous Christine. My blues are here and here.
Gorgeous flowers in your garden,Chris, wow! Each one is a beauty, and so each one's colors! I hardly ever know the names of any, except for the classic ones, lol.. Who cares, they're stunning!! Lovely.

Visiting from Blue Monday this time. Have a great week~!
UM, OMG!!! I would have a heart attack if I got those bills! We get one bill that includes water, sewer & trash. In the summer it tops out at about $75 & that's if we're having to water a lot! We've had a lot of rain so it's been in the $60 range. I didn't know there was white Lantana! I have a confetti one but I really like the white. Your yard is so pretty!
Oi Cristine's!
Beijinho no coração.
