Spring Break Tea Party with Grand kids, Minnie and Mickey

Our grandsons' spring break started last Friday so they decided to have a sleepover at grandma's house Thursday night. And then, just before bedtime, Reese wanted to go home. She said she was missing her mom and dad. And I tried everything to make her want to stay including telling her that we will have a tea party the following day. But that still did not work so I called her mom to pick her up.

The next morning, my daughter Tina was back with Reese so early in the morning. You probably know that they only live next door. I asked why she was so early and she said Reese asked to be brought over because she did not want to miss the tea party, lol.  I asked the kids what they wanted for breakfast. They all responded if they could have a tea party instead of breakfast. Well, it is the first day of their vacation so I said, "Why not!". Right away, Reese followed to help me set up.

Reese was so funny. She was teaching her brothers how to hold the teacup properly. She's had tea parties with me so now, she is the expert.

Look at the kids having so much fun! Aren't they just the cutest? It must be all that sugar, lol! We had macarons, chocolate, red velvet and carrot cupcakes.

We all had a great time

And Mickey and Minnie lived happily ever after!
Thank you so much for coming over. Thanks to the hostesses of these fun parties.

Teaching brothers proper etiquette can be a hard job, but someone has to do it! LOL The grands are so cute and growing up fast.

You are creating such lovely memories for your kiddies Chris, even for your little boys! They will learn to just as fine as their little sisters and cousins.
I love your Mickey table with the cute dishes. I am envious, wish I had the girls with me right now! Better, I wish I had them as my neighbors too!

Oh my, they are all so cute! I just know they all had a blast. My mother would just squeal if she saw your tea table because she has always adored Mickey and Minnie. She is in a nursing home and she has a couple Mickeys and Minnies on her shelf. I wish I could show her your post. You are a wonderful grandmother! I had my grandsons over last night and we didn't have a tea party. We had tacos! But they really enjoyed themselves. Thank you for sharing this adorable post with us and have a beautiful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

How adorable! I'd love to have a tea party instead of breakfast one day. How old was Reese when you started having tea parties with her?

Oh such a good grandma you are. Your tea party for the grands is so cute. Love your Mickey and Minnie theme and your theme pieces. That's pretty neat that they are next door to you. At least you don't have to go far to see them. Mine are actually living with us while they find a new house.
