Break for Tea from Jewelry Making

I added photos of the jewelry I just made because some of you left a comment asking to see them, so here they are. The first one is a necklace with round and button shaped aquamarine.

I did not make the pearl with lemon quartz stones necklace but bought it from Ross Simmons Jewel Store about a month ago. I wanted a pair of earrings and a bracelet to match it. I could not find any lemon quartz with a teardrop shape so I just bought the naturally cut ones from the jewelry convention last Saturday, and then I made the bracelet and earrings today.

It was last Saturday when we had a jewelry convention in town where lots of vendors sell jewelry supplies. We like to go to this since it is only held annually, to replenish our supplies.

Buying more natural stones, fittings and other supplies got me and my friend, Debjani excited about making more jewelry. So we scheduled a session today.

After creating a few jewelry, we took a break to have some tea and cinnamon rolls.
We had green tea in my Tirschenreuth tea pot. I chose to use this because it has Fall colors. I pulled out 2 flowered bone china tea cups and saucers with similar colors.

I served the cinnamon rolls in a Traci Porter "Artesian"cake pedestal plate. I used small Prima Donna by Jennifer Brinley plates for our rolls. Both serving and dessert plates have peacocks on them.

Aynsley bone china tea cup and saucer.

I don't really know the pattern.

Staffordshire bone china teacup and saucer. They have pansies which is perfect for this time of the year.

But I don't know the pattern name either.

Here's a close up of the Bavarian Tirschenreuth teapot.

Since all our jewelry supplies were all spread on the office desk, we had tea in the family room. I wanted to have the tea outside but Debjani said it was 93 degrees so we decided to stay indoors.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christine! I love your jewelry designs! The stones are so pretty. I also like your tea service. I love how you mix patterns! I have always adored Tracy Porter's designs. I was so sad about her company's financial problems.

What a fun day you and your buddy had! The cinnamon rolls look divine, too!

Christine, not only is that a pretty tablescape for tea, but that necklace you made is the most stunning thing ever! I can't believe you made it! I'm so impressed. You are SO talented.

On a different note, I forgot to answer a question you had the other day. You asked me about my little stuffed animal. It is a crab made out of leather, and I got him years ago as a gift. He's dressed in a Victorian waistcoat. I just love him. He's kind of fun to have in Florida.

Sending you hugs. We have rain today, but it's gentle so far.

XO,

Sheila
