Silver from Estate Auction and Antique Stores

I just had to share this pic. All my grandkids are together!
I am just happy I was able to take pics of some of my silverware before I left for FL. cause now, I don't have to miss Beth's Silver party. To see some amazing silvers, go see Beth at http://thegypsyfish.blogspot.com

Below are various silver forks and spoons in different /sizes. I won them as one lot in an estate auction in Port Gibson a few months ago, Also included are silver salt cellars. I really like the salt cellar spoons and the hors d' oeuvres forks.

The candlesticks holder sets (I have a pair of both) were won on Ebay. I bought the silver chafing dish from an antique store downtown. I paid $47 for it. Do you think that is a lot? I was not really sure how much it was worth but I really like the legs and the handles and it holds one of my Polish potteries. You can pour hot water and it will keep the food warm.

I also bought this decanter set from the antique store.

and won this Sheffield coffee set from Ebay. I fell in love with Sheffield when we went to England and saw how expensive they were selling in the store there.

Thanks for viewing! Now let's all go visit Beth. Thanks Beth for deciding to keep hosting this meme every second week of the month

Just scrolled down to see your arms full of babies. Well don't tell that handsome little guy I called him a baby. What a happy time and looks like all are enjoying every minute.
Just picked up the last little item for your package and will put in the mail on Monday. It will be waiting to welcome you home.

Great silver collection Christine. That doesn't sound like a lot for that dish to me. Great picture of your cute grand kids.

I love the garden shots...it looks like a gorgeous place to visit and you really took some amazing pictures.

The picture of the 3 kids is precious. They are all just darling. You have such a collection of silver but I'm not surprised...you have some of everything!
