Florida Trip Last Weekend

Last weekend, we visited the kids in Florida. I knew it would be a very good trip when we landed 25 minutes ahead of schedule. I think Tampa has the prettiest airport and the most organized among the big ones.

John and I decided to separate so we can both spend time with our respective children. So my son, Jed picked me up and his daughter picked him up.

My i pad2 was acting up. We do not have an Apple store in our local mall here and I know the nearest mall to the Tampa airport has an Apple store so I asked my son to take me there first.
I explained my problem to the attendant and when her diagnostics run was unsuccessful, she replaced my I pad2 with a new one. So, we left happy.

Jed hunts and his birthday is coming soon and he asked me if I would buy him a new bow for a combined birthday and Christmas present. He said his old bow has a safety issue and of course I want him to be always safe so I said OK with no hesitation. And so we went to the hunting goods shop.

This is where he picked his bow from.

After paying, I saw these antlers hanging and I asked the store owner if he sells them. He doesn't but I asked if he would be willing to sell me one. After thinking for a while, he said

he'll just give me one. He got a screw driver and unscrewed the one on the left and gave it to me. Jed and I were both happy when we left. You will see the antler on my next tablescape.

Although John and I went our separate ways, we figured out a way to get together with all the kids and grandkids. I think this is the first time all grandkids from both sides were all together.

Aren't they all beautiful? We sure have a growing family. By January, 2012, these 6 will multiply to 10. Three daughters are pregnant right now and one of them is having twins.

We met at Tampa International Mall.

We took the kids to the playground inside the mall and they all had a great time.

Such a ham! Whenever he sees a camera focused on him, he poses and say's "Cheeeeese". He is the youngest grandkid now but not for long.

They had a great time hanging out with grandpa while me and my 2 daughters went baby shopping for a while.

I had to take a picture with my daughters. Proof that I was skinner than both of them once, lol.

The morning we left for our flight home, we met again for brunch at the Cheesecake Factory near the airport.

Heather had artichokes and French toast, my 2 daughters and I had crab omelets, the kids had pancakes and strawberries and John had an eggs Benedict.
Here is the happy bunch! Kerri and family went back home the previous day and AJ had to altar serve in church so they couldn't be with us.

The waiter was so nice. He brought candled desserts for the pregnant ladies.

He even brought 2 pink candles for Rochelle because she is having twin girls.

The pregnant trio!

John insisted I get my picture taken with the girls because this is the only time my tummy will ever be smaller than all of theirs, lol!

We really had a wonderful trip, especially because we saw all the kids. Although they are all in Florida, they are still scattered all over but they all came, some drove, some flew in.

Thanks for joining me for another trip and family adventure. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Lastly, I would like to share a dimensional video of the twins. Rochelle scheduled an ultrasound while I was there so I could watch them move around. It was amazing! Notice the foot of Baby A on top of Baby B's head. She is always kicking her, (poor baby!) and Baby B learned how to put her arms on her head to protect it. I don't want to bore you so I just picked a short video to load and you don't see baby B's arms over her head here.
