Family Room Coffee Table Top

Finally, a real table top to share for Marty's Tabetop Tuesday! Go see our most gracious hostess and look at more amazingly creative tabletops at
Today, I am sharing our coffee table top in the family room.

The table is made out of faux alligator skin. We hang out here a lot so the furniture are all practical, mostly leather. For the vignettes, I just arranged a vase with 2 candles on crocheted doilies in a zebra printed tray. On the other side are decorating books topped with 2 faux books with a bunny, a glass timer and a magnifying glass.
Do you like the painting above ths sofa? I painted it in oil.
Close up taken from another angle.

Taken from the sofa showing the loveseat and windows. Do you see the pool in the background? We have a view of the pool from the master bedroom, home office, family room, game area and the kitchen.

There is the bunny!

and the vase and candles
Thanks all, for your visits and thanks, Marty for hosting this great party.

Hi Christine. I'm loving your table. Everything is so pretty. I was looking at your previous post, too. Looks like you like to garden, too. It really helps the sleeping, too, doesn't it? I can't wait to see more progress as the season moves along.

Hi Christine,

I just got your message and I to thought you were already following. That's so strange. I think you're the second person today who's said that. I hope I'm not doing something wrong but I don't think so. I wish I were more technically advanced but I AM NOT at all!

Thanks for entering the giveaway and good luck!

I love your coffee table. I love BIG furniture. When it comes to decorating a room Hubby and I don't see eye to eye. If left to me the room would be filled with lots of accents on the wall, tables, etc. His idea is sparse with all of the furniture lining the wall and a BIG empty space in the middle of the room so he won't have to dodge furniture or possibly hit his legs on any thing.

Have a wonderful day.... We have sunshine here today !!!
